Learning Things :: Letting Go On Social Media

by JermynToh on 5 March, 2010

I suffer from a symptom called “greedy eyes”. There really is so much out there that I want to read and watch but there isn’t really enough hours in a day for me to do this.

I have a habit of “favourting” tweets I think are useful for reading later and through my time on Twitter … this Favourites list is rather long. Trying to go through the many things I marked, I came across this great TED Video which I wanted to share.

Here’s my 15 second pitch for this video:

In under 5 minutes, I had 4 take-aways
- reddit
- reminded about the internet being a place for fun
- reminded about letting go
- I should try to have more fun when I’m presenting

Have a look.
