Food Review :: Vegetarian Treat @ Fortune Centre & Nasi Padang Bliss @ Peace Centre

Vegetarian Health Food by Luo Han Group @ Fortune Centre
This is a quaint little cafeteria with it’s entrance facing Bencoolen Street. The range of items available is quite astounding and there are chefs in white hats hand-making noodles and dumplings. Try the double-boiled soups or the different Japanese bento sets available. On the menu are also noodles, soups, fried dishes, yong-tau-foo or a colourful & tasty range of pre-cooked dishes you can pick from to go along with white or brown rice.

Alright Cafeteria @ Peace Centre
Located on the top floor, you’ll see the bright red sign as the escalator glides you up to the third floor. The place serves nasi padang that’s just tastily blissful. It’s really simple fair and there’s a certain home-cooked feel to the food. Prices are also really reasonable. My best friend and I paid SG$8.50 for the two plates & two canned drinks.
