Singapore iPhones Are Unlocked

I just found out all Singapore iPhone’s are unlocked as IDA doesn’t allow telcos to lock handsets to SIM cards.

So i didn’t need to “unlock” my phone after all to use it in Malaysia.

phones from Singapore New zealand hong kong are all unlocked as that’s the requirement by the regulatory bodies so apple has to honour the warranty in those countries la

the phone aren’t “unlocked” by 3rd party software

in malaysia the iPhones are locked to Maxis so if u unlock it ur iphone is outside warranty la

if u unlock ur phone … and its giving u problems most u try to restore to factory settings first then send back to apple to repair lor

oh. As in, Apple won’t repair the iphone coz it’s unlocked. They only warranty the locked ones. ??

Warranty? So long as u haven’t taken ur iPhone apart la. Unquoted from a fren who works at Apple.

Maxis i think they’ve locked to use with Maxis. Wat do u mean ones from Maxis will not be apple?
