Funny but tonite is the the 3rd time in the past 30 days I’m seeing, hearing and watching someone tell me life is about balance. The Oprah show is talking about how her being overweight is a result of overworking and not being balanced., being depressed and her trainer saying how she never learnt to be happy.
My close fren told me 2008 has been a good year for me ‘coz I’d done quite a lot professionally. But she thinks I need to get out a little as she says I’m predictably in my office or at home working whenever she skpes with me …. evening late at night.
junhon told me he appreciated the way I approached life when we first met …. he said I played as hard as I worked. Not sure how someone who loved to play so hard suddenly cut back on play drastically and all that’s on my mind is work.
Guess I need to take the hint that whatever forces in the universe is sending to me.
Oprah says you need to give back to myself, to make yourself a priority.
So 2009 is about getting back some balance in my life. I gotta learn to take care of myself, to cherish myself, to honour myself and to make myself happy first before I try looking after everyone else.
