I’ve lost count as to how many times I’ve visited Bangkok during this period … is it 4 or 5?
This time I’ve decided to break with the tradition of staying at Silom Serene and agreed to the hotel another friend had booked himself into. Its only RM150 a nite and since Bryan’s coming along … I’ve gotta not be so extravagant or I’ll get scolded.
Keeping my fingers crossed I will be OK with the room given how anal I am about room / bathroom cleanliness. I’m telling myself its 5 mins to DJ station so that should be enough of a positive … even if the room turns out not to be that fantastic.
Let’s hope there isn’t a repeat performance of me checking in .. checking out 5 minutes later and walking across the road to a 4 star hotel and checking in at whatever rate they gave me. Hehehe … the last time i did that was years ago!
I’m wondering if this is how Robin and Shao Ann felt the first time the 3 of us went on a trip to BKK and I was pulling their leg about the hotel being standard … telling them not to expect too much … with a common bathroom and all.
Oh well … no matter … SONGKRAN!! Here we come …. again.

actually i used to not like it … but last trip … i just decided to go along with things and get into the mood and it was actually quite fun!!!
the idea is to arm urself with a water gun and make sure u wet those who decide to douse u ….. also take consolation that they tend to choose to cuter guys to wet and powder

Aiya I was very tempted, but decided to give it a miss. The thought of getting dumped with cold water and mucked with white paste still scares me. haha.
