working late

before i start on the reason for this post … its been 13 days since i quit nicotine!!! …. since the ritual of my last cigarette as instructed by the book … … and there are no cravings or fighting with wanting to pick up a cigarette!! …. (plug book again) … the book really helps!!!

we’re going to be burning the midnight oil it seem as we put together a major presentation for a client tomorrow.

its been a long time since i’ve worked past 11pm in the office. if i need to work late … i prefer to bring my work home so i can take my time, finish things off and then crawl into bed.

but when I need work from colleagues and the teams …. i make an effort to stay back with them so i can check up on things periodically and to keep them company.

i don’t know why but it always the same … the night before a major presentation … agency people are rushing out creatives and strategy adjustments till the wee hours … actually often till the very last minute tbefore the presentation trying to get things just right

why is it that the creative juices only start flowing and marketing inspirations starting popping into your head at the last minute closer to meeting deadlines?

sigh …. while waiting for the team to work on things … i took the chance to take new pictures. i hate taking pictures coz they always turn out ugly …. but i think these didn’t turn out too bad. using a really good camera helps i guess
