the poll closed at about 12.20+ …. as i was getting more frens who didn’t know about it to vote … just before it closed … the figures i saw were:

Homosexuality in Singapore
MM Lee Kuan Yew recently said that ‘homosexuals are mostly born that way’. The Government has in effect adopted a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy. With Singapore becoming more cosmopolitan, should society also be more open towards homosexuality?

Singapore should be:
More accepting (54%)
Less accepting (44%)
Maintain current level of acceptance (0%)

Total Votes 136,949

When shaoann checked as of 5pm yesterday, the results are 50% in favor of society being LESS accepting … versus 48% for society to be MORE accepting … 1% sitting on the fence … the poll will take you less than one minute … please go and vote now!

Now its 54% more accepting …. please help vote so that the % of more accepting stays / goes up higher!
