Last weekend was a stressful one. I didn’t realise how stressful until yest nite at dinner with B&B+twinkie. I was stressed out in case the weekened turned out to be a disaster
A simple / logical idea of bringing 2 cousins together came to being last Friday when Derrick & spouse + Leona & spouse arrived in KL to party together. They’ve known each other since childhood and since I party with them separately, it made sence to bring them together … righ!??
Thankfully the weekend went off well and it was really wonderful to see John & Derrick again .. and to chat with Michael about growing up in Serangoon Gardens … and to see the 2 cousins hang out together…. and spend time talking with really close frens.
John’s meds worked wonders for my acid indigestion which I had been suffering from for 5 days and my stomach is back to normal.
I’ve never seen Derrick so chill before so i guess there’s still some hope for him
so another wonderful weekend has passed …
….
On another note …. i don’t understand why but i’ve gone from night owl to early bird.
Its weird getting up at 7 each morning and pottering around the house, watching TV, doing errands and surfing till 9 before i get ready and make it into the office by 9.30am (it takes 10 mins door to door).
this morning i’ve been up since 6 plus and i’m bored shitless … i can tell coz i’m switching between E! and cnbc plus surfing the web and updating 2 blogs at the same time
why does it seem like there’s less to do in the morning than at night?
one reason might beoz there aren’t that many people online so i can’t exactly chat at length with my frens
today i’ve got an extra 30 mins to kill coz i’ve a meeting at mid-valley at 10am .. think maybe i’ll head over there early and get a orange shake

heading back to SG fri to tue this week and probably next week as well
this will be the longest i’ve been in SG for at least a year. i realised i haven’t been back to SG since march or apr … cna’t remember exactly.
i guess i shud make the most of the trip and do some shopping since its the great singapore sale
think i’m gonna get lots of bed-linen and pillows. its so hard finding nice stuff for the house that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg in KL
can’t wait to be back in SG, experience efficiency & sterility, go to a nice club with nice looking guys and visit my grandma
- weekend and nonsensical things weekend of marathon tennis. my lesson was from 8-9am and andrews was from 9-10am. then we played with our frens from 10am-1pm. thankfully there were 5 of us so one of us cud take turns sitting and recovering. in my over-enthusiasm at smashing a high easy ball near the net......
- back in SG arrived back at 4.30pm and then ended up being robin's cheauffur for the evening before rushing to the drama centre to catch Wong Kar Wai Dreams. i rather liked it although i think it cud have come together better its so nice to be back .. there is a pulse......
