My tennis coach suggested I get this instead of the newer Babolat racquet to give my strokes more power.

I’m finally getting Steve stringed and I just might get a chance to play with Steve this saturday!!!! I’m keeping my fingers crossed I’ll get let off partying on Friday night after the MODA event which means I can get some sleep and play on Sat morning!!
played with Steve on Saturday and I was expecting more power from the racket as Andy Roddick used to play with it a few years back. I was a little disappointed that it didn’t the kick i was expecting.
Tension is 60 lbs.
My frens said it might be the strings.
I switched back to my Prince Shark and I realised the power was a little lacking too.
Realised it might be coz i’ve changed my grip ans playing style so that i can get more top-spin in my strokes thus giving up power.

Hi… I’m looking for new tennis racquet as well. I’ve been playing with Head racquet for the longest time. I need more power in my strokes too. Let me know how did you fare with the new Babolat Pure Drive racquet. I heard about it from my friend too (who also got himself the same racquet).
I’m more partial to Head racquet… not sure if I want to switch to another brand… haha.
How much lb (tensino) do you normally string your racquet?
