All’s done and we’re just waiting for the movers to get stuff I want to have moved to KL, charity people to come pick up the rest of the stuff I don’t want / can’t get sell off. Then its off to Robin’s house to deposit more stuff and then dinner with him and his brother and sister-in-law.
Garage sale yest was weird …. I sold off the best pieces (Tefal over & Bose sound system) and got a total of $340 for them. There’s a whole shitload of stuff in the living room and I doubt people are gonna come to a Garage Sale at a HDB apt. Oh well … the last we did a garage sale at my parent’s place we had flocks of people coming and made about $1.8k plus …. this time .. just the neighbours and the kalang guni man. Got a few more hours before the charity people come.
SO its back to waiting for people who’re not likely to come and then the rest of the day.
Another move … another apt.
if i were to write a book on my life …. i’d break down my life into apts I was in and this would be another chapter.
amazing how many memories you can attach to each apt u spend ur life in … for those nomadic types that rent instead of stay with folks or buy their own place

Yeah, i can understand what you mean. In my stay here in Singapore for the past 17 years, I’ve stayed in 4 different apartments. Moving was a chore but each time you moved to new place, it’s like a new chapter of your life begins. Different places and different pple that you share the places with, each of them can filled each episodes in a movie/ or a book.
Like what you’ve said, each place we tried making our home, filled with so much memories… good or bad. Remember, we even used to be housemate once… haha.
Have a good life in KL, I’m sure you’ll be back to Singapore once in a while. Now, I have one more friend to look up to when i’m up there in KL, right? Ha ha..
