and on the eve in london where a MICA and NAC initiative is going on that talks about asian boys and the pink dollar, the silly health minister suggest in parliament that oooo the gay parties are increasing the aids epidemic rate in sg. but then he adds, OH this is just a mere hypothesis, more studies and research has to be done to look into it.

and then our great national paper puts it as a HEADLINE on the front cover, GAY parties increase aids epidemic.

I REALLY GIVE UP ON SINGAPORE. THIS WILL REALLY SHOW THE REST OF THE WORLD HOW PROGRESSIVE WE ARE AND WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE IT IS TO DO BUSINESS!!! …………. FUCK MAN ……………. HOW MANY SMALL MINDED, STUPID, MORONS ARE THERE IN SINGAPORE!!!

This is what I call a shining example of responsible journalism. And they say we’re a democracy!!??? Forget speaker’s corner …. get a job as a journalist and you’ll be allowed to spread your bigotted views through the national paper!!!!

Sorry kitsch_king … there are many exceptions but the folks over at our nataional paper are really doing a great job at shaping everyone’s mind with articles like this.

read kitsch_king’s post (you have to be on his friend’s list tho)
