Xmas Madness

OK … I admit that I’m usually not very disciplined when it comes to getting Xmas presents. My theory is that you never know who to get for unitl the week before Christmas cause many things can change.
- you may break off
- you may get attached
- your long lost best friend may turn up
- you may have a new crush
- you may have a major fight with your best friend
- you may end up having to attend several parties with gift exchanges

So as usual … i left my shopping till the weekend before Xmas and that’s when the stress levels sky-rocket BIG TIME!!! Its so hard to find things when you’re looking for them. Other times when you’re not looking you’re bombarded with choice.

Spent a crazy week trying to get presents for people and ended up with just managing to get 2 of my list of 11!!! I’m so far behind. I guess I’ll have to resort to the unthinkable … getting stuff from the shop which i feel is a cop out. But then … I walked and walked and walked till I lost weight and can tell you the layout for most department stores and still only 2 presents.

Why is it so hard to shop for people when you’re looking for presents. I should use my friend’s technique of just buying gifts when she sees something great for someone and saving it for Xmas … even if it means squirrelling it away for 2 or 3 months!!!
