Childhood friends

Had Tea with Andrina, Karen and Susim on Wednesday. It’s been about 6 weeks since we last saw each other and that was when Fish was back for a short while to sort out things and try to get back to Singapore from Qatar. She’s finally sold her business there and she’s back for good!!!

Its good to see her … she still really looks good. If only she can meet someone really nice and who’ll really appreciate her and make her happy. In fact … I wish that for Karen too but I guess she’s more interested in sorting out her life and getting Amelia into a good school at this point in her life.

Anyway … its amazing how people can change and yet stay the same after so many years. We’re all about the same in terms of the way we react to things and all .. but we’re also very different. Its like Fish seems to understand me and we both try to tone down when we see Karen and Sim … to meet their expectations of us being mature adults. But then … she’s this little river that runs so bloody deep and wild at times. Not that wild la … just that she’s not as simple as she appears. Oh well … I guess everyone is an onion in one way or another.

Oh .. by the way .. Rob … they were all asking about you so I told them you’ve become a pedophile and brainwashed this guy from Perth to move to Singapore and be your sex slave.

• Shaozie's visit So shaoann's visit is over and he's on a plane right now headed back to Singapore. It was nice to have him here with me for 5 days ... even tho there were times he reminded me of my mom .. checking on me to see i was in good......
• Day 6 without cigarettes ... or is it Day 5 ... or is it Day 1? yesterday was a cop out .... something stressful happened in the morning and i immediately lit up when i got into the office. part of my brain kept telling myelf i didn't need the cigarattes after the 2nd one but i just kept lighting up the rest of the morning......
